Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3: 15 Sneaky Easter Eggs

Star Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), and Groot (Vin Diesel) have come together one last time to save…not quite the galaxy this time but Rocket, and to help resolve his traumatic past. Oh, and while the Guardians of the Galaxy are at it they’ll save an entire species and rescue animals from the worst animal testing lab in the universe, run by the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji). Bringing in old friends like Kraglin (Sean Gunn), Cosmo the Spacedog (Maria Bakalova), and Stakar Ogord (Sylvester Stallone) and his Ravagers, the Guardians of the Galaxy suit up for one last hurrah into space and they’ve brought call backs and references with them.

CORRECTION** about the Pete Davidson part, the character that scares Mantis you’re referring to was played by James Gunn, Pete Davidson played a character who’s name is mentioned out loud in the movie, Star Lord tells three different guards while standing at gun point, something along the lines of “you can shoot me but then good luck getting out of here alive”, Pete played one of those guards

Groot speaks 8 words. I, am, we, are, and groot. Also "i love you guys" which his mouth movement matched so he didnt say "i am groot" he straight up said "i love you guys." Which is still 7 words more than i thought vin diesel could learn.

A really obscure easter egg in this movie is that, in the scene where Rocket finds the group of raccoons, there are a few groups of alien symbols behind him and four of them are one to one copies of four of the symbols of the Covenant alphabet from the Halo franchise.

I have heard and seen a picture of Pete Davidson, he plays the Alien, Middle Alien on the final scene ship that confront Peter. Before Peter says something like "Shoot me, and miss your only chance to stay alive." There is a behind the scenes Photo of Pete without the mask on, with Chris and James, like a cell phone selfie. And James Gunn is the voice of the "Scary Blob." - Toronto, Canada.

In No Way Home, there was a nod to Electros' classic face mask. When he was attacking on the Statue of Liberty, electricity made the outline of the classic face mask. They did something for all the classic suits in the movie.

Were going to find out that MCU Jason Quill is a refugee from Spartax. That would mean Meridith is part Spartaxian and thats why Ego was able to produce a half Celestial with Meridith! 😂
