Ironic... I'm making a YouTube short that Youtube shorts can destroy my channel.

Will YouTube #shorts destroy my and other filmmakers channels? I don't know. I haven't really understood the concept behind it yet but it appears all over YouTube now. It's a cool idea but I don't think it's good for my channel.
