Towards a Feminist City: Just Transition approach

Ms Sneha Visakha is a legal and policy researcher interested in cities, local governance and feminist urbanism. She is an incoming doctoral candidate at the Department of Anthropology, Brandeis University. She is presenting at the Just Transition Forum in Asia (JTFA) which is organised annually by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation’s (FES) Regional Climate and Energy Project in Asia in collaboration with Climate Action Network Southeast Asia (CANSEA). Under JTFA, the Lab on Gender in Urban Just Transition is organised aiming at bringing together stakeholders from cities in Asia to discuss the challenges and opportunities of a pathway to achieve just transition in cities under the gender angles and share best practices and innovative solutions for achieving a socially inclusive and climate-resilient future.
