Geometric Distribution Problem (Mean & Standard Deviation) | Probability Theory Exercises

We solve a geometric distribution example problem, where we will need to calculate the probability of a geometric random variable taking on a certain value. We will also calculate the probability that a geometric random variable equals one value or another value (union of events, and we show how to find the mean of a geometric random variable as well as the standard deviation of a geometric random variable. We also show how to calculate geometric probabilities on a calculator. #probability #apstats
