It was Brendan Kavanagh who introduced me to this fantastic Swiss musician, Ladiva, a superb singer, piano player, composer and a very classy lady.

Everything that goes into her head comes out of her fingers in a furious boogie woogie. Amazing how she compressed the melody and rhythm from the original into boogie woogie but with a separate soul of the music appearing out of the creative ether.

I was blown away by this! I was all set to enjoy an old favorite Beethoven piece my mother used to play all the time and then Ladyva pauses and then this marvelous jazz started! 😄😁 What a treat this is, Ladyva is a true artist and boogie woogie master. Thank you for this combination of two of my favorite musical genres in an amazing and satisfying way!

Stunning; magical; unworldly; supernatural.... these words can't begin to describe the unique talent of Ladyva. She has taken a classical piece and absolutely made it her own. Simply incredible!! God has given her so much talent and she has obviously worked very hard to perfect it. And this piece was recorded when she was about 26 years old?? Wow.
