i just started studying integration and so i am not able to do them... i came to this solution, please can you correct it? that is how i did:
int (cos (2x)) dx =
int (2 * cos^2 (x) -1 ) dx=
2 * (int (cos^2 (x)) + int (-1) dx =
2 * (1/2) * ( x + sin x + cos x ) - x =
x + sin x + cos x - x =
sin x + cos x

why exactly we find the derivative (the work you did at right side) isnt this supposed to be just integration, why are we finding derivative then??
