This is awesome. Another VS Code extension most people dont know about or leave out is Image Preview. Its a must for web developers working with a lot of images.

Hey Adrian, so I have been using VS code for sometime now but over time it got so slow and right now I am having a hard time writing code as it lags even in code completion. What do I do🥺

Greetings. There are a few extensions not referenced by you or that article which would be worth mentioning.

1. Partial Diff.
2. indent-rainbow
3. vscode-faker
4. Rainglow (themes pack)

With regards to indent-rainbow, the way i use it is. I make the the first few indentations the same as the editor background color.

Then at around the 4th-5th indentation in, i start changing the color to become more and more obnoxious, which helps make anti-patterns / areas that need refactoring super visible.

Note this is only intended for use in actual programming languages (e.g. JS, PHP, python, etc). Hence some configuration will be necessary to turn this extension off for docs that can be heavily nested by default (e.g. anything XML based).

There is a Live Server Extension for VS Code but the Live of Brackets is Much better than it because it also gives the tag highlight Feature/.
