Don't worry about the music. This instruction helped me repair the broken screen on my phone though. Thanks.

This video is good up to a point. I own a phone repair business and i would be very careful proceeding at the point where this video ends. If you remove the glass from the frame before the LCD has been removed you will easily run the risk of slicing the front of the LCD as u run a blade or opening tool around the edges of the screen. Just like an iphone 3 the glass should only be removed from the frame once the LCD has been separated and protected accordingly.

At 1:47 DO NOT pull the coaxial cable out like that!!!
make sure you go under the direct metal connection and apply force upwards this way you'll avoid the possibility it will be torn, and try to use the plastic pry tool as much as possible this will prevent new scratches, over all the disassembly is pretty simple if you do it carefully

Question is this phone still worth fixing and how much (estimate) will it cost to get it repaired Withe the glass screen and the digitizer

I took mine apart and now the lock screen / vibration motor doesn't work seems a tad odd since everything else including the camera works ( everything is connected back together ) maybe it got slightly damaged during disconnecting.. Sigh epic fail. Ill probbaly just get a new PCB for it and reinstall it or just hold onto this one for 5months since you can unlock it via camera button. Can you please let me know where i can buy spare white cables. the ones with the clips on the end. Cheers

@bryhutch19 It was done by a company called M Blue Ltd based near Southend. It was only the glass screen that was broken so it cost me £50. Don't use HTC. They told me it would take 2 weeks and £50 to have it back on my desk. After 2 weeks they sent me an estimate for £150 and told me that they don't replace the glass only, even though they originally did via email. They guy at HTC said he didn't care and that it would be £23 to return my phone. Then took a further week to come back to me.

I had heard that there was a way to change the internal memory to 32gb but it required a system wipe...any way to back up the data and switch it into the new 32gb once the firmware is reset to accommodate the bigger card?
