How To Grow White Cucumbers - Growing White Cucumbers in pots

In today's video we will see a white cucumber variety called "Himangi".) This is a very delicious and prolific cucumber plant that is resistant to powdery mildew.

Since this cucumber is resistant to powdery mildew, its one of the easiest cucumber plants to maintain. We were able to harvest a lot of cucumbers from this plant, making it a very strong recommendation in the cucumber varieties to grow.

This is the 1st year I am growing white pearl cucumbers. I bought 2 plants from someone on fb marketplace. They are very healthy plants and I'm looking forward to the harvest. I use Alaska fish fertilizer on all my vegetables as organic is extremely important to me. If I want ones with chemicals, I'll buy at the store lol. We have farmers markets that sell organic too. I bought white/silver zucchini seeds from Ukraine on Amazon. The seeds are good until 2027 so I'll grow them next year as it was just a but too late to start things from seed by the time I got them.
Anyways, I'm hoping these white pearl cucumbers will produce well and I hear they are sweeter and less bitter than the green ones.

Interesting  to see White Cucumbers. Is the taste similar to the green ones  Here in London we had a good year  for green cucumbers. Thanks for sharing that good advice

What an interesting variety, makes me wish for the spring time. I have some space master cucumbers seeds I'm happily waiting to plant. Although, powdery mildew is a concern for me; I noticed some on my green bean leaves, so this cucumber may be a right for my area. Thank you for the great video.

Nice video.  Will need to order the Himangi seeds. I planted the Deva Cucumber and this was a wonderful variety as well.  Very crunchy with little seeds and delicious even if gets older on vine and turns yellow. Happy gardening!

Last year I grew two burpless cucumbers in separate pots. Put a tomato cage on each of them then took yarn and made zigzagging lines throughout each tomato cage which became my trellis. When the grew taller than the cage the cucumber plants ended up growing onto each other. Unfortunately where I live is humid and it got powdery mildew. This year I grew one Japanese cucumber plant because two plants was too much and grew it in the ground so I didn't have any watering issues. I preventively sprayed my plant with an organic fungicide but it was yellowing some of the leaves. It did get some powdery mildew but I kept cutting the leaves that got moderately affected then used Serenade to prevent it from coming back. My cucumber is making it's comeback and is growing more leaves and more fruit.

Yes I do grow this cucumber variety and this is the first year I got lots of them.i.I grew them in different place I'm been growing them since1979 this seed I got from my country.
