the fourth dimension is Time-Space.
It is mentioned that it is time, because it is the new addition when we talk about the fourth dimension, but outside the third dimension (which means the phisical matter) time and space are the same thing.

I have never understood what people meant when they say time is the fourth dimension until this explanation

Whats crazy is that most of us who experienced “ deja vu “ just feels like we lived on earth before and to me thats a crazy real feeling I could feel and would never know anything about it …

That only works when its based on the existence of time, and it is not certain.
Some argue that time only exists when its perceived. Its a concept created by humanity in order to explain events occuring around them.

Others argue that 4th dimension is beyond space and time or that it is both space and time combined.

Another perspective is that there is no time, and what ever happend is happening and will happen is happening at the same time, and our experience of it is an illusion.

Something i once thought about i doubt it relevance to the topic is that we actually only live in, and perceive the past, your senses, neurons, the information that flows towards your Brain and is decypehred by neurons takes time be understood, therefore what you see is not what is, but what was. Just like we still see the light of stars long gone.

So far there is no clear answer and the Einstein theory of it being 4th dimension isn't really backed up by mathematical evidence.
