These presenters have evidently read books on how to speak "engagingly" and use body language. And they've applied what they read, mechanicially and unconvincingly, without bothering to check whether it worked. The result: An extremely fake-looking and repetitive performance.

That thing about being yourself? It applies to spouting platitudes too.
