Absolutely stunning car. IMO the best looking Aston ever made, the design didn't need to grow on me at all like the new db11, it was just instantly amazing. Also would like to mention you're doing a really good job of conveying what the car is like in a broad range of situations which not many do. Keep it up :)

Thank you for sharing. I had the pleasure of driving a DBS from London to Dover and back some years ago. A memory for life. I stalled the engine a couple of times too...

Wow, 3 years ago a 13, 000 miler was £120k. I picked up my DBS carbon black edition with 13, 000 miles for £89k this year. I can’t see them dropping any further, if anything they’re creeping up again.

Such a comprehensive review. Excellent. I just bought one of these. After owning a DB9 previously I can say they are totally different. The DBS is truly a special car! Thanks for the review.

In 2020 this is still a dream car for me, I think it’s the best looking modern Aston and I’m a huge Bond fan. Also, V12 and manual. Enough said.

The DBS would be in my dream garage, it’s a true Aston and can’t wait for the new DBS. But this it’s so cool, so elegant and huh it’s as beautiful as Eva Green, she plays Vespa in Casino Royal.

I have a DB9 in the same shape and love, but the DBS really is the next level. Nice Video :)

I remember drooling over the DBS when it featured on TopGear.

I’ve said in previous comments on your channel that I’m a big fan of Aston Martins. But of the “DB9” Range of which the S is...I’d go for the equally gorgeous but almost totally forgotten Virage.

A Yay from Jay, what more could a car want :)
Always loved Astons. The DBS's great grandad - the original 70's V8 Vantage is one of my dream cars - if you ever get the chance to drive one, I'll be first in line to watch.

Great video. Agree these are ageing well and last of the V12 Manual Astons would be something to keep hold off and hand down to the kids one day if only could afford one.

Great review. As you were launching it, I heard the infamous clutch squeak. The early DBS clutches had that annoying quirk. My '09 DBS had the same thing. Replacing the clutch with the updated part transformed the driving experience. Still a rather high bite point, but much easier to engage, and no annoying squeak. Expensive, but worth it if you actually get out and drive the car.

Great car. Loved my manual Vantage. I hope Aston do continue with proper manual gearboxes. Sad day when Ferrari stopped making them.

When it first came out I said some day I will drive or own one. I got to ride in a business associate's DB9 a few years back. He lives outside if London. We took a nice trip through the countryside. If and when the prices come down under 80, 000 USD I will buy one.

I would love to have a Storm Black and a red and black interior. Storm Black is a floss black with red metal flakes in it.

Till I get one I built a model DBS instead. I painted it a Royal blue pearl with a burgundy and brown interior.

This will have to do for now.

Its always the gearbox thats the weak point in an Aston. Completely agree with high biting point and could see the long throws you had to do to change gear - just looked awkward.
