They changed the covers for Fablehaven. The old ones looked a bit better, I think. BUT JESSE. YOU WILL LOVE THEM. They were my second favorite book series in late-elementary and middle school. SO GOOD.

I remember really enjoying the Pigman! I had to read it for school and immediately read two of his other books right after. I've never seen that cover though so pretty! I recently got the Rithmatist as well aaaah so excited!

The Assassin's Curse was such an unexpected gem of a book. The only thing that I have to say that might be slightly negative is that I wish there was more.

Ah, I'm so sorry to hear that your grandfather had dementia. I work at a facility for people with dementia and I talk a lot with their families, so I know how hard that is.

I just finished The Rithmatist and it's such a fun read! You'll probably really like it. :)

I agree with Kat. You DEFINITELY have to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. It's just amazing. It has awesome characters, an awesome world, awesome plot, awesome structure. It's brilliantly written, like the language and style are just beautiful and everything goes so nicely together it has so much depth.I JUST LOVE THIS SERIES IT'S BRILLIANT AND A MUST-READ

I read The Pigman when in school and fell in love with it. It is one of the must haves on my bookshelf. I read all the Fable Haven books, except the last one. Have it just not read it yet. Loved the series though so will be picking it up soon to finish the series out. Then I will read Beyonders by the same author. I know there is one or two more out after Beyonders but want to read the first one then move to the next if I like it.

Love love love Drums Girls & Dangerous Pie! and those covers are lovely!

I actually had to ready Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie for a class and I really loved it. I never heard anybody really talk about it on booktube though but its a really good story. I didn't know it had a companion novel though. I'll be picking that one up soon though.

Ahhhh I loved Drums, Girls, and Dangerous PIe!!!! Definitely cried a bit at the end (though not necessarily out of sadness). I haven't read the companion yet, I need to get on that.
