That last line about listening to the people. That’s Aristotle right there, he distinguishes between tyranny and monarchy by the following of private interests or common interests. In Aristotle’s estimation, any system can be good as long as it holds and acts along common interests instead of private ones.

Nice work here. It's not as visually engrossing without the editing of images, but the content itself is very good.

On an unrelated note; for some reason my discord account has been disabled. While I work that out, can you re-invite me temporarily on the alt I created? Baron-von-Blau#5404

For starters Louis XIV never said that. Secondly, the French King had power but not as much as is commonly thought as there were entrenched privelige groups who commanded influence, especially in the Parlements. However it is true that King Louis XIV could act rather fast and loose with law it was not as common or chaotic as one might expect. He did oversee a failing budget with France in a lot of debt but it was also very culturally influential, plus a modern Police system (Well more a reorganisation.) including lighting and free ballet. However the people did suffer from his Wars and there was significant tax increases which must also be realised, then again that is not uncommon today either in many cases.
