There was some YouTube prankster a few years ago whose "prank" was pretending to mug a complete stranger with a fake gun. But unbeknownst to him, his victim of choice was packing heat. So as you can predict, he was shot dead and the guy wasn't charged since he legitimately thought his life was in danger. Even the dead guy's family wasn't upset with the shooter.
