I love how season 2 is jinx character arc, they really nailed it. Going full circle, how Vi always needed to protect powder and in the end, Jinx protected Vi, they switched roles, what an insane character growth.

The brass section was genius to add in! Almost sounds like a an army marching towards the battlefield; epic!

This song is my fav of the soundtrack. The lyrics are a warning, for what happens when you mess with the arcane if you do not fully understand it. What Viktor and Jayce brought to live in their pursuit to bring magic to the world. Jayce realizing this when he’s down at the bottom of the Hexgates, alternated by the Vi and Jinx fight, which exemplifies the destruction they have ultimately created with their dream. It’s just a near perfect sequence in an already near-perfect show.

The lyrics sound a bit like it’s Jayce lamenting what they have done to Viktor, who responds in The Line. But I also think this could be Future Viktor speaking to Past Jayce. After all, he is the only person that fully understands what it is that they have done and what they will ultimately end up doing.

One of the things I absolutely love about this scene is how it starts off as anime action with slick moves and acrobatics, and devolves into just a brutal brawl of just trying to hurt the other as much as possible as all those pent up emotions over the years are finally coming out, especially with Caitlyn as it is almost a desperate need to get revenge.

And the best part is it's a cycle that jinx breaks. Her parents were killed by men sent by Caitlyn's mother. So Caitlyn's mother, nor the rest of the council, really had no right to not expect one day it would come back on them.
