I got the go 3 from Best Buy back in march, but at that time, I didn't really see a need for it. Fast forward 3 months, and I was about to go pick it back up again until I saw that the 3s came out. I'll absolutely be going to pick it up after your review.

The aspect ratio feature is what I'm curious about. In the ver. 3, you can shoot in landscape but have the option to crop it in portrait. Does it still work on the 3S?

Hi, I have a question about Insta360GO 3.
What mode do U use, freeframe in 1440, or Video in 2.7k?
Do U have problems when U using the clip on head mount with orientation:
On each recording it keeps deciding what it wants to do itself - either record horizontally in 16:9 which I want, or keep the aspect ratio recording horizontally in 16:9 BUT actually record vertically in 9:16 within the 16:9 aspect ratio.
Any ideas?

I got the 128gb 3s. I guess I’m not a pro, but I don’t see the point of the 4k. For me the file size is just too big to deal with, and to me the quality doesn’t seem worth it. The 2.7 video looks amazing and for just taking family videos of my kids it has been ideal. If I had it to do over again I would have gotten the 32gb go 3. The app works great for me so transferring videos wirelessly onto my phone and uploading to cloud storage makes the need for excessive storage seem kind of pointless to me. The big selling point of the camera to me is the design and function. I love that I can just clip the action pod on my hat or the pendant, and be free to interact with my kids while still capturing everything.

Am I crazy but does the color on the go3s look even more accurate and well saturated than the ace pro? I’m stuck between them (Ace pro vs 3s), especially now that the 3s does decent low light! I want to film in malls, and in shops, and such, do you think the go3s can handle that lighting?

Start with low battery life, white camera, and bad low light video. "Improve" the product, charge more money as folks buy "new version" for what they should have gotten with first camera - RIPOFF.

I am waiting for a GO 4 with user replaceable batteries and external SD cards. Go-x battery replacement from Insta360 is quite expensive.

My kind question is, if we use 3S on 2.7k resolution, are we getting the same battery life as Go3 (probably yes?) and are we getting the image/video quality differences (improvements as you mentioned on colors, dark ares etc) ? Or are these image differences occurs only in 4K video ??

Im about sell my go2... I would prefer the go3s of course, but im a big fan of the 1:1 sensor verstility...
Idk if i will have problems with this Freeframe on 4:3. With the go 2 i use both ratios for ig reels and yt videos, is maybe better buy the go3 to have the same feeling? Or the crop is not that much with the go3s reframing?
