An avalanche has killed 28 people in Tibet, according to Chinese media.
The incident happened on January 17th. An avalanche blocked the entrances to a road tunnel in the Tibet Autonomous Region. People were trapped inside cars. According to rescuers, the cause could be strong winds and rising temperatures in the region.
More than 1 thousand people were involved in the rescue operation.
