The X2 was my first camera in the Leica world. My only gripes were the AF wasn’t fast enough for my needs and I’m not a fan of fixed lens cameras because it’s a pain to clean the sensor. With that said, this camera is truly magical. The rendering and look of the photos is very unique and objects have a special ‘pop’ to them. The camera paired with the Leica holster carrier makes it the ultimate camera for travel or a day out. I’d suggest this camera to anyone without hesitation. One of the best accessories you can get for it also are the auto open/close lens hoods.

12 years later they produced d-lux 8 with an extra megapixel added otherwise looks identical 😂

It's 24mm equivalent approximately 36mm, nowhere is it 23mm.

I know it’s a little pricey, but if you can afford it, it’s definitely worth it!! Just got my hands on a used Leica Q and I take back every negative comment I ever made about Leica cameras before owning one myself😅😂🫶🏿
