This feels like... The bittersweet joy of being just arrived to paradise, but knowing it was so quick for you to realize you didn't make it in other life, and knowing you may not gonna see all the ones you love... just for a while.

My dad just passed away a month ago, and listening to this makes me feel close to him. It is awesome.

This just hits so much harder than any other song on the album, even if they're all great!

The upbeat melodies and sections - 1:55 - are totally underpinned by the more melancholic piano underneath it all. In a way it's a representation of life. I never asked for the terrible things that happened to me for 16 years to happen, but they did, and they still sit with me a little, but they shaped my perspective now that I'm doing so much better - the melancholic piano, drowned out by the upbeat melodies, it'll always be there, but I can choose to sing along with it.

Life is beautiful, I've come to realise that, it's not perfect and never will be. But what I've got now is enough for me, I've got family and friends, every day I get to walk to work across the creek to look out over the rippling water, reeds swaying in the wind as gum trees line the banks. It's simple, but it's amazing, I love it, I'll look at it every time I cross that creek, it makes me glad that I'm still here. Even if against all odds, life on this little space rock of ours exists, that despite everything that happens, there will always be there bending down to reach out a hand, and that no matter where the world goes, things can always change for the better, the upbeat melodies can always drown out that piano!

I can't make everything better, I'm only one person, but I can be part of those melodies, I can be the one singing along with it all, one single voice in a sea of a maybe a few, or maybe many, but I'll be there, trying to make things better.

But Caravan Palace has not only given new original gems we’d never heard before but blessed our ears with tunes we’d heard as only small snippets in the past and granted them full length. I could not be happier with my Favorite Music Artist of all Time.

Listened to this constantly, drinking some hot coffee and just enjoying the view with birds flying, such peace. My sweet cat passed away yesterday, passed away right in my arms. She was always there, watching the view with me. Listened to this music while watching the video today, and it hurts so bad to have that part of me missing, but im glad it was a moment I cherished, this music will forever remind me of her. Im glad I was there with her till the very end, just didn't wish it would end so soon.
