This was always my favorite card game because you could play by yourself and its great for improving memory, I always knew it as Concentration though.

I have a friend who has such a good memory that she plays this game blindfolded and beats me most of the time. I tell her which cards have been turned over and she remembers their positions. She even knows where the cards are that I've turned over because she can locate them from hearing me turn them over!

I played it differently, with only hearts and diamonds, or clubs and spades pairing up, and of course the two jokers formed an additional pair.
