In Embers of Memory, both players work together to free Aelin from Maeve’s iron coffin trap by strengthening her resolve through helping Aelin relive memories from her past.

Both players win by completing the prologue game.

Hey, there seems to be a serious mistake here. When you mention the "split the mind" rule (3:03), after the cards are removed, there's a yellow 1 under and left of the blue 3 that connects the groups, so it doesn't look like the mind was split. Am I misunderstanding something?

Little confused! You said that you can’t join cards in the memory if they are of different colours and suits so how come they are all connected?

For all those confused about the second part of the game (the chapters), the first part of the game (the prolouge, seen here) literally sets you up for the game play of the second part.
Play through the two part prolouge to be able to grasp the game play and then apply that two part game play to then work through the chapters. Fenrys's game play is the first part of the prolouge and Aelin's game play is the second part of the prolouge. It is important know both game play parts of the prolouge regardless of which character you use to play through the chapters (Aelin or Fenrys) since all game play is silent and you will instead communicate through strategy.
Start on Chapter 1 and follow through the "book" to the end.
