Paul, nobody in the world can do scooter reviews as good as you in my opinion I so look forward to them. My dual motor Apollo Go has climbed most Hills for me but I'm a very light no way it could tackle this San Francisco Hill. For me I must have a dual suspension like my Apollo because my lower back just would give me so much problems if I didn't. But I want this scooter haha😂

I bought my VX2X two weeks ago. All those saying it needs a suspension are missing the point. The VX4 is only slightly more expensive if you want a suspension. But I got the VX2X because I wanted something more portable.

surprisingly powerful. 👏
I was impressed with how well it did on the "Ultimate SF Hillclimb", and myself coming from a coastal city with hills, this looks like the best choice for a -50lb scooter

As always a great insight Paul, hopefully we'll see a Phantom 2.0 (base & stellar) review / first look soon when Mac, Chris and Eloi send you one. I suspect that won't be to far away, until then stay safe reviewing and take care on those speedy one motor models

What is the 0 - 15 time y’all got? It felt like 3 - 3.2 seconds. I didn’t see a reliability score? Golden review!

You should retest the Segway Max G2 after the recent software update. It's a beast of a scooter now.

Looks like a great value for sure! VMAX is legit. Great Video

Amazing review, Paul!
Now, we have the most powerful lightweight scooter!
If the Apollo Go is the Lexus, then the VX2 Extreme is the Mustang of lightweight scooters!
I'm still glad I went with the Go for the comfort and ride quality!

Man thats the cleanest looking display on a scooter I've seen, great video guys! Have you tried riding a Kukirin G4? Its the fastest single motor I've ridden however the display isnt as nice

No shocks are a negative on this scooter for sure. I test rode this scooter at the last Rider fest and it's super bumpy.

It would be interesting to see the motor and controller temps after that hill test. Nice vid so far

Well Paul you made an oops before attempting to start top speed 😂 just remember keep your thumb off of it before getting on.

Love the quality and informative reviews! I’m surprised you haven’t done any reviews on the Kukurin scooters seeing as they have the best performance for the price I’ve seen.

Wow, this review is epic! I was thinking about the Ninebot Max, the original G30 or the G30LP, and was kind of even thinking about the Ninebot MAX G2, but I love the idea of more performance and less weight.

My biggest question concerning all electric scooters is about the motors. Are they proprietary or commercially available units?

Hey Paul
I really enjoy and appreciate the work you guys do at scooterguide! I live on a very hilly island in the pacific northwest and I am renting a unagi voyager. The voyager will make it up most hills here, but barely. I live on a sailboat so weight is a consideration and the gt is under my 50lb limit. Do you think the vx2 extreme will climb at least as well as the unagi. Thanks

Hopefully they actually remove that boat next week lol. I lost a back tire inner tube on that stretch, be careful. Probably on me for using off brand tubes and tires but some of the salt spray eroded asphalt rocks are sharp and large.

Have you reviewed a Nanrobot LS7? Also I bought my First electric scooter because of price on Amazon I’m wondering if you could do a review on it so I can see what pros think about for pros and cons it’s JGH X5. I think it needs steering damper and hydraulic brakes then it be a lot better not big fan how noisy it is but dual motors 3200w shipped to me under $1200 I thought was decent deal but seeing some of the draw backs not having a support site to go get parts for it.
