'Brushing' scam delivers mysterious packages to doorsteps

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is warning it’s actually part of a scam called "Amazon brushing" intended to falsely inflate online reviews.

I live in France, and this is exactly what happened to my parents! They received orders from my dad’s Amazon account and two articles in his apartment.
The weird thing is that they had access to his account, could register an order (but was listed in archived orders so that it is "hidden", as the purchase is verified, the seller was able to write a false positive comment with 5 stars).
This is very concerning...

Also remember Federal Laws says, that if you do not order it, you do not pay for it. You do not have to send it back. Change your passwords on your Amazon, and other accounts.

This is happening to me which makes no sense Bc I don’t have an amazon account or anything to get my info and there sent to my church
