Lesson Objectives: To be able to understand the relationship between pressure, volume and temperature upon a gas. To be able to understand where the formulas PV=nRT and PV=Nkt come from. To be able to use n=N/NA to transition between PV=nRT and PV=NkT.

This video walks you through the difference between degrees Celsius and the Kelvin scale. We need to understand this before watching this video.

In this video I explain the origin of the ideal gas equations and the difference between them. We define the mole and use Avogadro's constant which tells us the number of particles in one mole, 6.02*10^23 particles. At the end we look at an exam question using the formula
