I am 45 years old. I work hard 60 hour weeks, military retired family of 4 and kids in college. But I still find time to game. Xbox Series S my Fav, just got a PS5- meh…. Fancy Bly Ray player Lol but my absolute favorite and most fun to play is my Switch. And Metroid Prime 1 on Game Cube is my #1 most favorite game in the entire world. It is that good of a game.

THANK YOU NINTENDO. Finally I can replay my dream game in full HD 1080P and ofcource I’ll be using the Game Cube Style controller for this one. Not the silly 2 joycon nonsense.

They really did justice to this all-time classic with the remaster. In fact it's more of a remake that looks and plays amazing 😍

Bought it the second it went on the ESHOP, it's nostalgic, because I played the original almost 20 years ago but it's also the most beautiful remaster I've ever seen. I was expecting a cheap HD patch of paint but instead it is fully remastered, from framerate, to graphics, resolution, textures etc. It's amazing and worth every penny. Hopefully they give the same treatment to Metroid 2 and fix Metroid 3. The company behind the remastered should do more than pat themselves on the back. They need a hefty reward for their hard work.

Kind of a bittersweet reveal. On the one hand, Prime 1 woooo. On the other, I've played this game so much in its emulated mouse and keyboard form that I can't imagine myself going back to anything else. Oh well.
