Oh yeah, I can picture it now. I am in the woods covered in mosquitos, I rub myself over in catnip only to have the swarm disperse in time for me to be tackled by an ocelot or a puma.

my female cat is one of the 20-30% that doesnt care for catnip. i tried to give her some once and she just didnt care for it, it had no effect on her. but my other cat went crazy! running all over the place and jumping around. he's fat so catnip helps him exercise

As a kid 2 cats my family had were littermates. Oddly enough, they had very different reactions to catnip. One adored it and always went nuts when he had it, while the other had no reaction beyond "okay, my brother's being stupid again... Great..." It was pretty funny to watch.
