The Double Apex SURPRISE Move...

The “double apex surprise” as I like to call it, is a high risk, high reward type of move. Especially on tracks that don’t have many hairpins like this one, it’s important to be creative with the overatakes by catching your opponents off-guard. When you really shock them, you have to be agressive in holding your place because they’ll often overreact to your sudden move. ⁣Normally, I’d never tell you to get lap brake and throttle, but this is one of those rare exceptions where it can be necessary.

This track is super fun, in rookie and d class people are mostly not confident to make moves through the 3-4 corner, but imo it’s the best spot on the whole track. Braking zone is long and lines are all similar pace so it’s a great corner for side by side. Inside, break late, don’t go wide, don’t let him get a cutback, move done and he has to stay behind for the s’s

Brake early for a late apex? The apex is where you square the corner off, in other words, the point where you are closest to the inside curb! Why are you braking early when you can actually brake later

the car ahead didn't run wide, they were taking the normal racing line for the double apex and the car from our perspective braked early and kept narrow to get alongside the car ahead, giving them inside for the second apex. it was a cool move, I have no idea why all of his videos attract so many salty haters in the comments lmao
