Did you realize that Jon keeps the Dragon away from the Godswood entrance to let Arya pass savely? He sees her while he sit down behind that small wall. He sacrifices himself and is shouting "Goo Goo Goo!" cause he knows he had no chance to save Bran.. And he knows how quiet Arya went into the Godswood while Arya and Jon met again in the first episode of the season!

Very interesting when bran looks at the Night King' belly at 1:11 as if he knew that's where he would be stabbed. And the NK cluelessly tilts his head.

The Night King knew that Jon Snow's Valyrian sword was a real threat which is the reason he raised the dead followed by the undead dragon Viserion to keep Jon at a distance. Jon was the unintended diversion designed to allow Arya to infiltrate the Night King's entourage and defeat him with her sleigh-of-hand maneuver [and surprise the viewing audience as well] complimented by the brilliant musical score by Ramin Djawadi. If only the rest the of series could have lived up to this one scene.

I wish the zombie dragon breathed its fiery flames onto Jon, and that him not burning would have been the reveal that he's Aegon. Because fire cannot kill the dragon.
