[ARTURIA PIGMENTS 2] Can it Psytrance ?

Hello Internet,

The #Arturia #Pigments got it's update to version 2.0 last week, but the question is, can it #Psytrance ? I am going to answer this question with these 4 presets I made while jamming in this #NOTALK video.

i like using the sequencer to generate random velocity and gate values and then use velocity to modulate various parameters....the amount of randomisation available in pigments is incredible....three random generators, three S&H LFOs plus the sequencer

Holy cow, thanks for this, it was really inspiring! I got my Pigments on december for making Industrial Techno, I'm currently working on some Psy projects tehre but I was not sure that it can make those incredible sounds! Thanks for saving me some money investing on other software.

I was trying to make a psy bass patch with it, but I could not find a way to retrigger the oscilator to a specific phase which seems like it should be a major feature

I'm really tempted to get this, especially for 69e, but the lack of variable phase retrigger is a bit of a bummer, as we have learned together already. I have Serum, Hive, Zebra and Thorn in my arsenal, if you own/use or are familiar with these plugins, what would I be missing out on by passing on Pigments?

Am I the only person who HATES how-to videos without the creator's voice? Impossible to follow where the cursor is and what the heck they are attempting to accomplish.

Psytrance: A mentally disturbed robot endlessly knocking a nail into a wall with a hammer. Yes Pigments 2 can do that and a hell of a lot more besides.
