This was exactly the video I was looking for. I kept on seeing the modulation strip and trying to find a video explaining it - I can't believe how easy it is!! Thanks!

Great video. I'm a guitarist who normally uses synth presets, but am now looking to be able to 'try' and create specific sounds for my new music project. Thanks for making the video available, I'll def be watching more of your Pigments videos. 🙂

Just what I needed. Bought Pigments 4 last year for the first time but have yet to find a comprehensive tutorial like this one. Been kinda just piddling around with it but wanted to actually know what each of these bells and whistles do! Thank you!

Great video - this has helped me considerably with the modulation section, but I still have questions... What would be nice is a (FULL) explanation of all the modules in the Modulation section like Func 1, etc, Rand1, Comb, M1, 2, etc. Seems like my weakest point on this amazing synth. I REALLY liked what you showed here - thanks!

Great tutorial for beginners. Thanks.
It's a great synth. The only synth which is unique in my sense is the Wavestate (you have the native version in VST too) and can't be reproduced by any kind of synth.

After going through so many soft synths as a beginner, this is the only one I can wrap my brain around. I think the biggest advantage UI wise is that you can be looking at the modulator side, or the engine/filter side and easily see which are tied together AND what it's doing. Most synths you can only work that out one way and it doesn't show the modulation graphically.
It also helps that Arturia has recently been putting out an absurd amount of preset packs made with just Pigments 😅

This gave me a good introduction! It's a lot to take in, but I want to learn more!

Thanks Udi. Loved the tutorial. Can you do some sessions on building various types of sounds like pluck, lead, pads…
