I rarely shop at Zara anymore and as my budget has increased over the years I try to put my money towards slower fashion and more conscious brands when they have what I'm looking for to compliment my personal style and wardrobe needs, but this set is exactly what I was looking for and the price was right for my budget - I wish I could afford the Khaite one lol. I do not advocate for excessive shopping at fast fashion retailers, but I do think they can be good ways to supplement your wardrobe - especially as your budget fluctuates over the years and you want to allocate less money to basics and trendier pieces. Just check for signs of good construction, and care for your clothes well and they should last a long time - I have some Zara, H&M and Mango pieces that are 7+ years old now and still going strong. I also always encourage you to check Poshmark and other second hand websites and shops first, because they may have trendier pieces that are just what you're looking for :)

You got me thinking about all the things I've bought since leaving New York City (for me, heels and a pink & white coat) - but I'll share one spring essential which has served me well: a pleather light gray skirt which I pair with nude heels and blush tops for an amazing monochrome. It's also perfect for rainy days so I don't have to sit on a wet skirt and can easily clean off the water. Great video!

I just recently moved to North Carolina from London and really looking forward to having more exciting clothes after being practical for so long in London! 😊
The thoughts of wearing dresses and lighter clothes (since it barely gets proper warm in London 😩) is making me soooo excited!

My favorite things to wear are dresses ♥️ I wear thicker materials with darker tones in fall and winter and I wear light weight fabrics I’m soft nature tones in spring and summer. Dresses are just so easy to wear!! I throw blazers on for a professional setting, a light jacket in spring, and a coat in winter. I love prefiero walking boots because they don’t overheat your feet so I have been able to wear them even when it’s a little warm otherwise I love my Birkenstocks for summer. I’ve had mine since 2016 when I traveled to Germany and payed no more than €40!! I’ve gotten fixed over the years and they’ve held up so well!

A very nice alternative to the VanEli shoe at a considerably lower price is the Lifestride Everdeen slingback which is currently available on Amazon I have a pair and they are good quality, comfortable, and versatile shoes.
