'It Looks Like Things Have Gone Very, Very Successfully' India Lands Spacecraft On Moon's South Pole

India has become the first country to land a spacecraft on the moon's south pole.

TalkTV's Ian Collins spoke to space expert Dr Timothy Davis as the Chandrayaan-3 space craft touched down "bang on target" just days after Russia's attempt ended in a crash.

Tim tells Ian why the mission was carried out, adding: "Space exploration is hard. This isn’t easy, what India has done here!”

India is 3rd largest economy by GDP PPP and 5th largest by GDP NOMINAL. India itself gives Aid to many nations. It's also biggest donor of medicines to WHO missions in Africa. ..
