Cillian Murphy is obviously amazing but I also wanna give credit to the highly underrated Emily Watson who's just terrific in just about every movie that she's in. Ever since her debut in Lars Von Trier's Breaking The Waves, I knew she's going to have an incredible future. And thanks to this movie, she won the Berlin's Silver Bear for Best Supporting Actress. Finally, she's getting the recognition that she truly deserves 🙌

Of what little I learned about the Magdalene Laundries for the short time I lived in Ireland, this such an important story I hope they get right, it's important that a lot more people learn about it if they haven't already, especially with Cilian Murphy being as famous as he is right now it'll hopefully give it a greater spotlight.

It might be based on a fiction novel but a lot of what the book is about happened all around the world and I applaud the production for backing something like this being made to highlight it even if i'm certain the catholic church won't be pleased.

Wow, these are where true actors really earn their accolades and praise. How an actor like Cillian go play a role like this without being personally traumatized is the sign of a true professional. Just watching the trailer is moving enough, I can't imagine acting in these scenes, definitely will be eying another Oscar with this movie and this role for him.
