I've bought a renewed Apple Watch from Amazon. Initially, there were a few hiccups – a minor scratch/dent on the casing and a battery health of 87%. But here's the plot twist: I discovered this bad boy came with AppleCare+! Yep, that's right. So, I decided to test my luck and contacted Apple. To my surprise, they approved a replacement.

Fast forward to today, and I'm unboxing a Series 7 Apple Watch, possibly even better than my expectations. It's eco-friendly packaging, stainless steel body. Let's get it paired up and check that battery health – spoiler alert, it's a solid 100%.

Hi Brian,
I need your advise on one thing related to Apple Care.

I bought an iPad 5 from Apple about a year ago. It still has Apple Care. I deopped it and now it has a hairthin crack on the lower part of the screen. I contacted Apple and it would cost me $70 to have it replaced by a refurbished from Apple iPad of the same model.
My question is:
Should I keep the original that works perfectly and save $70 or should I replace it?
Anyway, if I ended up selling it, be it the cracked one or the refurbished I won’t get even close to $200.

Does that mean if I buy AppleCare+ on my iPad, I can choose whether to replace or repair? Clearly having it replaced is a better deal since you get a brand new device with a 100% battery health.

I scratched the top of the curved glass edge and the frame of my Apple Watch Series 7. It’s a bunch of little scratches along the top of the glass and frame, the bare aluminum color of the frame is showing through in a small spot. Do you think Apple care+ will be able to swap it out?

Hi Brian, will they replace the Apple Watch if it has an outstanding balance with the carrier? (Cellular version). Has a cracked screen so my pal stopped paying his monthly bill for the watch through his carrier.

All repairs are usually factory refurbished devices. They may have a something that hasn't worked from factory and they replace that! So its near enough new! They will always have a new battery etc in it!
