In se of my classes the ywacher make it so you have three bathroom breaks per quarter
The funny thing is the health teacher is one of the teachers who enforces that rule the other is my history teacher but she is really nice and gives extra credit

For the red ink rule, it's the same in South Korea (I'm not from there but yes). There, it's believed to be bad luck.
