How to replace the HEPA+carbon filters on your Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde™ purifying fan
Показать описание
When considering how to change your air purifier filter, its worth remembering that you have a two-part filter in your Dyson machine. Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde purifying fans have two fully-sealed filters - a replaceable glass HEPA+carbon filter, and a permanent catalytic filter. In normal use, we would expect the HEPA+carbon filters to last for 12 months if used for 12 hours a day, or 6 months if in constant use. The catalytic filter is permanent and does not need to be maintained or replaced.
Remaining filter life can be accessed via the built-in LCD screen by pressing the Information button on your remote. It can also be viewed within the Dyson Link app.
It's quick and easy to replace the HEPA+carbon filters, just follow the steps shown in our video guide.
Step 1. Start by switching off and unplugging your machine.
Step 2. Press down the side buttons
Step 3. Your Dyson catalytic filter is already installed.
Step 4. It’s permanent, so you don’t need to change it.
Step 5. Once changed, you can reattach the new ones.
Step 6. You’ll need to reset the filter life on your machine.
Step 7. Press and hold the 'Night-time mode' button on the remote control for six seconds.
Step 8. The screen will count down.
Step 9. When you see the confirmation screen your purifying fan is ready to use again.
