I had an 8MM 14KT Yellow Gold 20" Herringbone Chain I bought in 2018. Don't get me wrong. I paid fair for it because Gold wasn't at an all time high at that point. Long story short. It stretched like a slinky after 2 weeks. I sold it for scrap since I wasn't able to have it fixed. The end. 😂

My wife ex had bought her a chain and bracelet for like 1200.00 the chain ⛓️ was like 11mm and the bracelet was a bit thicker like 12mm he bought it in the early 2000s. Around 2014 I seen it on my floor about 2-3 times the bracelet... It had about 4 kinks . I took it to USA pawn shop was only expecting like $75.00 olboy was like you want to sale or pawn it I said sale he was like I can do $375.00 😮 I was like yes indeed 😅 I told my wife about it about 3 months later 😅😅 it couldn't be fixed no how!!!

Okay guys, hear me out. No cap, there is a video on YouTube from this guy who has had one for decades. Thousands of people have liked the video, and hundreds have commented how they never thought it was possible. Just search how to fix a herringbone. All you do is unclasp it, and hold it hanging and wiggle it and it will unkink itself. Some people have commented that baby powder helps as well. In the video the guy even kinks it on purpose and then fixes it. I wouldnt have bought one had I not seen his video. Another option is to not sleep in it, and always store it properly. Don't leave it on a desk or nightstand etc as they are very "snakey" and could fall and potentially kink.

I have some chains that look just like real gold but they are not. What are they made of? Its not brass cause it never tarnishes even when scratched but remains gold in color through and through. Pawn shops can't tell me .Jewlers don't know what its made of but it fails the acid test.What is it made of?
