Are the bottles 42mm, same as the Hyrapak that come with Solomon vests? I'm happy with my AdvSkin 12, but I'm thinking it might be a consideration for someone who already has flasks. Nice to have the flasks and tops all interchangeable. I mix and match my 350 handhelds, 500 handhelds, 500 plain and my various caps (speed, long valve, short valve)

Did you test if 600ml camelback softflask run in the pockets?

Thanks for the review! I'm in the market for a new vest that will be used for 100 milers. For my next 100 there are parts of the course that I'd need a third bottle. Would I have to take the vest off to get to the 3rd bottle if I put it in the back pocket as you suggest? Also, have you tried to put a 20oz bottle in the front holders. I'd definitely need more than the 550ml bottles up front and I'm not a fan of soft flasks either. Lastly, do you think a bottle would stay in that lower rear compartment that you can easily access; that pass thru I believe you called it? Again, thanks for the review and all of your content!

Salomon Advanced skin 12, this Camelbak Zephyr...or something else?? Currently using advanced skin 5 and naked belt combined for longer sojourns.
