Absolutely the right decision. My kids are all grown up but I have a 7 year old granddaughter who is the light of my life. I started this year in a coma due to Covid and came perilously close to death so being with my wife, kids and granddaughter is just so precious. I am now back to playing golf again. I found your golf channel during my recovery and am going back through the old content so that is why I'm late to the party. I absolutely love the channel and all the characters. It must be hard work but so rewarding. Keep up the good work.

I never write comments on youtube. However, that video has moved me...I 100% agree with your decision! I've heard and read in interviews that it's a lonely life being a tour pro. As a father, I couldn't imagine being away for long periods. I don't think you'll regret what you're doing. In fact, to show my support in a very small way, I've just been on to the website and bought 2 golfmates shirts...I know it's probably not that much in money for you you (compared to what you could get!) but I hope it helps and I hope other golfmates do the same. I have to say I was nervous and sad when i saw the title and am glad you arent leaving. I am 50 and have golfed since i was 13 but hadnt played in years and you are one of the big reasons i have gotten back into playing again. You make golf fun and watching you and OMP and Mr Barlow and everyone else always puts a smile on my face and i always look forward to seeing the next video and am glad they arent going to stop. It brought tears to my eyes when you explained that the main reason you arent going on tour full time is to be with your family.
