It's not about the law, it's about the safety. Had it been certified, maybe something would have come up during certification processes, and this crisis may have been averted.

People really need to leave that grave yard alone.

You couldn’t pay me 250, 000 to get in that thing let alone think I’m paying anyone to get in it.
The fact the pinger is powered by mains supply of the submarine with no alternative power source is absolutely insane.
Plus no rescue beacon. There’s no way I would getting in that thing.

That CEO must be under a ton of pressure right now

I really wish they’d put this much effort and resources into finding missing and exploited children.

how sad is the world when we have non stop coverage /search teams trying to find a few privileged people who went missing at sea and yet nobody does anything for the hundreds of migrants that go missing each week in the mediterranean

Whats interesting is that this isn't another "CEO that only cares about making money, while risking the lifes of everyone else", as the dude literally went on almost every dive. Mf really had all his trust in that sub

Not only do we bring you to see the titanic, we give you the full experience of what passengers on the titanic had to go through. So much money for a coffin. Happy i am poor.

The banging noise is the ceo head getting smashed against the tin sub walls by the angry millionaires.

They did not need to be certified, but taxpayer assets are out there looking for them. Is that Ocean gates response? Well, I hope they are billed for the costs of this rescue and let's understand how that process works.

I'm from South Africa and we are all praying that they get rescued ❤

Certified or non certified, there's way too much $$$ going into finding these people. Most military subs only go down to 1500ft. They're 13k ft down there. Give it a break

Damn I really thought those camping world parts and GameCube controller would have no problem passing certification

Its good they're hearing them. These men waiting nervously in hopes of being found, with the possibility of death looming over them. Just a terrifying fate. EDIT: No certification? 🤦

They made mistakes in 1912 by not keeping enough life boats as it might take away titanic looks and design..

And now after 100 years no back up safety....so we've still to learn lot of things

This shuts up all the people screaming "negligence". The crew also knew what they signed off for. There is waivers explaining everything including the risks to them.

Finally! The Canadian corespondent mentioned all of the scientific concerns of this tourist vessel

If alive, they must repeatedly be thinking "Why, why did we do this?"
Today I was thinking how they would give everything they own, just to be where I was, and I was only in a supermarket. But to think, your safe, not stuck down there, in darkness. Thought of it again when outside in the Sun. How they must wish they was there. So sad

If they had anything that could go that deep, it would be down and searching near the titanic now.
But they just don't have anything that can even do that.
If they didn't surface on their own this is a useless mission.
