You got the call right because LA kicked Austin but austin also touched the ball. You can see the ball jump and speed up from the touch from Austin. You said he was unsuccessful. It's a good thing it didn't come down to if he touched the ball or not or you would have got that wrong. The defender made contact with the ball.

There were at least 2 game altering VAR calls in RedBull VS Atlanta that were super close. I would have liked to see answers for those calls cause they seemed awful one sided.

Not only did Valencia not initiate contact, he did get the ball! The ball was rolling smoothly, he touches it and it accelerates and starts to bounce.

Why wasn't the first play cautioned for simulation if the attacked initiated the contact?

Wish we would get a reason why Sergio studs up tackle against Columbus wasnt sent for review. He originally gave Columbus a yellow card for a red card offense by the other team.
