So it will only bind to the SLT 3 transmitter only? I have a DX4 Pro will that bind to it?

Ok so I have an SLT3 from an old Arrma. I bought an AX24 ESC/Rx for a 4WS scratch build in hopes of using the same steering modes as the AX24. Unfortunately once binded, the thumb switch is only a 3 position momentary switch for the rear servo. Which allows 4ws but not in the way it does on the AX. Can I program the Tx or Rx to work like the AX with the 3 different selectable steering modes?

I upgraded to the injora purple viper brushless motor and esc combo kit, can I still use the spektrum receiver and just disable or not use the spektrum esc?
