LED Lighting Guide & Aputure Lightstorm Review - DSLR Cinematography Tips

Показать описание
LED lighting is a popular alternative to tungsten lighting, in this tutorial you can find out what differences there are between them, some examples of cheap LED models, and a look at the new Aputure Lightstorm.

The other LEDs used; Z96, and the Yongnuo 160.

*Edit, in the video I said that the Z96 was around £15 and $30. I should have said around £35, my numbers were mixed.

Nice one Lewis, waiting on the bi-colour version to be delivered, hopefully not sacrificing light output too much...

i wish they are cheaper but they are not, still, they've got some super powerful LED light that are battery powered, that's a game changer for indie filmmakers and as a fashion photographer who always complain about UKs weather and low night, it's impossible to shoot outdoor it rains and theres no sunlight, this will certainly change everything!!

Enjoyed your video. Very useful as I am considering purchase. I am a bit confused which battery I would need to use it outside. Any ideas would be helpful.

hello, what made you choose the ls1 S over the C version? the S is 25 degrees and C is 45 degrees beam? i thought for faces the C might be better and more soft and that you could control spread using barn doors? your thoughts would be amazing.

@Mike Kozlenko, I can't reply to your comment because I don't think you have your Google+ linked to YT. But yes, absolutely. This will be my go to interview light. Have a little 150w fresnel coming in from the back as a hair light and boom!

HAve learned more in 3 of your vids, than the last 3 months. I think it's the POME effect, your actress Que Bella, or for the British, Brilliant!!!!

I need to shoot slow motion. It's going to be 240 to 480 fps. Have you tested aputure on these setting?

Hi BeautifulMcGregor, thanks for the video! where did you purchase your lights from, I'm trying to find the best way to get a pair in the uk and would best to not risk paying import tax. Thanks!
