I actually braid the same exact way as them lol I know you said under hand but we actually braid over hand. The correct way is under hand but I always found it difficult to do. My daughter is 24 now but this brings back many memories ☺️they did an awesome job and definitely got the concept of braiding.

Great job for your first time. I didn't learn how to braid my hair until I was a teenager. My mom would braid one long pony tail but never taught me how to do it. I think I just figured it out on my own.
