Throughout the video I also share time saving tips, and tips on how to prevent traction alopecia. I also included solutions for all the common mistakes I see beginners make, and I even share tips to prevent hand pain and arthritis! 40 minutes ago, I was challenged to learn to braid by all 4 of my younger sisters, and I have 6 months to go from knowing nothing about hair to being comfortable with braiding so I can 'beat' my sisters in a braiding challenge. I am trying to learn braiding for a patient of mine at the nursing home that I adore. What made it click for me was
saying under the middle and grip the outside strand and just focusing on the top of the braid and not underneath. I’ve been trying to learn to cornrow for over 25 years and just couldn’t figure out how my fingers were supposed to be positioned and how much hair to grab. Thank you so so much for taking the time to teach the two different hand positions for starting and finishing the braid and what not to do. This video is pure gold!
