8:40 Lex needs to explain for over a Minute, why he CAN''T be biased because he thinks his "blood" gives him the information about this region.
Dude knows nothing about the balkan or the russian zone.
Which is not Moskovia, btw.

I had no idea that Lex is so ignorant about Ukraine.

Lex, why do you keep saying one has to see Putin as a patriot who loves his country? He loves Russia about as much as he loves Ukraine... enough to destroy it by his selfish stubbornness. Stop trying to justify him. He's a war criminal. You give him way too much credit. Also, it's not important what language one speaks, but what one does that's important!

Germany and Austria speak the same language but aren't the same country. Brazil and Portugal etc. Even if all Ukrainians spoke only russian it doesn't mean that they must be the same country with russia.

I feel the interviewer has his Western mentality hat on and like so many has no understanding of the Russian one. I can only recommend the interviewer to interview Tusk or Sikorski from Poland and state representatives from the Baltic States to gain a very valuable insight into the Russian phenomenon of its inability to adhere to any agreements. Zelensky is right, Ukraine must be in a strong position. Historically, the Russians have never stuck to any agreement they had signed. They are NOT going to change a centuries old habit of deception. Anyone believing otherwise is alas deluded. Ukrainians should be proud to have Zelensky as their leader. It was an amazing interview of the greatest man of our times.

Though I've been impressed with Zelensky since the start of the war, I had no idea he was so eloquent, and so knowlegable. It's too bad Lex wasn't better prepared.Or maybe he's just fundamentally naive about Putin. I hope this was a learning experience for him. I hope listeners pay close attention to Zelensky. If he manages to save Ukraine, he's going to be remembered as another Churchill.

Please give us a break about the language!! You speak fluent English and Zelenskyy speaks fluent English. Why on earth would you not speak English!!!Imagine an interviewer interviewing Hitler after he invaded Poland, in German!! When the interviewer speaks English. Spare us your fake piety about speaking Russian. Since when does a country that invades another sovereign country for no reason, and tortures and kills, babies, children, the aged, soldiers, for imperialist aims get any credibility. Bravo to Zelenskyy for coming on your show. He has grace, bravery, empathy, a refreshing humility and a clear vision of good and evil. That vision is lost on you. Study history and see how the US clearly saw it after Pearl Harbour, and 9/11. Now people like you think that you can get involved and tell Ukraine what to do! Funny how it was OK for the US to declare war on Japan and then invade Afghanistan but somehow Ukraine must seek peace and give in!! Such arrogance!!! Zelenskyy is greater than Churchill!!! Zelenskyy has a deep knowledge and understanding of history and human nature.

The way that Lex tried to purely Zelensky to speak to him in Russian is already giving a bad vibe about this interview. He presents himself as very knowledgeable about the nuances of Ukraine-Russia history and mentality, but can’t understand that Zelensky can’t answer to him in Russian?
The second thing that signals to me that he is on the other side is the way he has insisted that Zelensky needs to sit with Russian dictator that “loves his country”. And it’s after Zelensky explaining once why there is no point. Why to go back to the same bs? Talk to who and about what? The gold one wast about forgiveness! What are you talking about?!!! The man started a war, killing hundreds of thousands Ukrainians and he is talking about forgiveness?! If a burglar gets in his house at night, kills his grandmother, rapes his wife in the face of children, burns down the house and then demands the car keys in order to declare truce, would Lex forgive him too?

You need to push for TRUTH first to see where and when Peace can be truly realised. You cannot guarantee peace with a Wolf in sheep's clothing. One thing you fail to say is that Russia broke the Minsk agreements-they are culpable..Russia is to blame, it is simple as that.

Zelenskyy opening up about his family and growing up hit hard for me. I’m an American, and I married a Polish immigrant that came over here with her family after winning the green card lottery. Her grandma was raised in an orphanage because her parents were murdered during the war. She ended up marrying a Polish gentleman, but then lost him as well to the KGB. He was an intellectual, so they came in the middle of the night and arrested him.. never to be seen again.

Her face tells the story of a lifetime of agony. However, she also seems indestructible. I see the same look on many of the older polish babushkas and it breaks my heart. Like the poles, the Ukrainians are a formidable lot.

I hate Trump with all my being. But, if he helps Ukraine, this will be the ONE and only thing I will praise Trump for.

If several cease fires haven't worked why do you think the next one will? Isn't that a bit naive?
