What really should be implemented in game is reporting smurfers as cheaters
(Apex legends does it, they file smurfers into cheating category; but Im 98% sure it doesnt do shit when you report them)

The easiest way to stop smurfing is to force you to connect your phonenumber or you cant play. Cs did it and its worked for the most part

Thank you! I'm in bronze and my games were incredibly swingy because you'd always have an insta-lock Reyna/duelist that just wiped one team completely. Going like 30:5 KD and flaming chat. If you think gold is bad you should see iron/bronze

If I do smurf, I just coach my cousin on what to do in comp. I only have a smurf because my cousin is Bronze and I can’t play comp with him, so I don’t really do anything except give him plays to make, callouts, etc. Teammates have gotten mad at me for going like 3-15 but, I ignore it.

As a new player, I can confirm that this is very annoying when u try to perfect your headshots but that one omen always kills you in a matter of 0.01 seconds, topfragging with 40 kills

I hate smurfing but it’s up to Riot to stop it. They make it so easy to create alt accounts that smurfs really don’t have to do much. Imo they should just remove the region locking all together and merge all accounts that use the same email while taking the highest MMR and Rank you have.

Sure, we can’t talk shit about someone having a good game but if smurfing wasn’t such an issue then people being cracked would get the respect they deserve rather than insults for “being a smurf”

If you really want to play with your low ranked friends then consider doing some challenge like classic only or no crosshair or something, so your skill becomes close to that of your friend's. It's actually pretty fun too, and doesn't ruin the experience for others because you are handicapped to the same skill level.

Problem is a lot of smurfers now do it to play with lower elo friends or boosting them, not only for solo queue-ing anymore

That's why I always try to get my alt accounts to my actual rank, an alt account is just an account I play on when I feel like I'm playing worse and want to play without the pressure of losing my rank

Thats the reason i stopped and will never go back, cause people wont stop smurfing, humans are too selfish to do that, Riot would have to intervene, but they would never do that. So Quitting it is.
