From life experience don't rely on just one source of income. Anything can happen job cutting your hours or lay off. Always have a back up income at the very least. You want multiple sources coming in. Look at it this way if your income stops. Your bills is always coming in non stop. You got to stay on top of your game plan. 3 sources of income, working on #4 this year.

1. Main income- Welding (Aggregate plant/mining equipment repairs). Was born into a family of welders, learned the basic skill at a young age including custom fabrication with mild steel, aluminum, stainless.

2. General Automotive Repairs- Also learned at a young age due to passion for cars and trucks except now I get paid for it.

3. Commercial Irrigation Troubleshooting and repair- mainly 2 wire repairs, opportunity was there so I took it. It's working out great.

Working on #4 this year, a side hustle for my wife and I reselling online

Thank you Dan. You are so right. I had to learn that out for myself. Early on in my business, I wasn't making the money I wanted to make, and so I tried to create additional sources of income. Then, I came to realize the business I had took so much of my time I couldn't effectively build the other sources of income I was trying. Yes, multiple sources of income helps to create more wealth, but that same truth is missing that it's only practical to build multiple sources of income when you are already making a big income.
