Truly outstanding presentation, build, and overall assessment of this kit. Helped me decide to order one, especially that it is far cheaper than the ridiculous price that Lego wants for it. I really appreciate this coming from a real car guy and not some hyperactive kid more interested in being funny than laying it out clearly. Would really look forward to you doing more videos of Lepin's cars, particularly the Bugatti that Lego is charging a whopping 350.00 bucks for. Thanks again for this well-put together presentation!

Just made a purchase a Porsche 911 RSR from China and its relatively cheap! Just a 32 dollars.. but like what you said, might be missing pieces. Let’s just hope everything turns up well even-though lepin was totally shut in China last year. Cheers!

The lepin is a direct rip off of the Lego kit. Also it is not an officially licensed Porsche kit. I understand you can't beat the price, however please do not support a company that does not do there own design, r & d or take the time to properly license the product. Yes part of the cost with the Lego was the fact that it was properly licensed by Porsche, which is also why the instruction book is such a well put together book.

Also I wish you luck in getting a hold of lepin, but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting those parts. An if you do get a hold of the. You will probably have to pay for the parts.

Again please do not support a company that steals from other companies, and makes an inferior product.

I didn't know these type of models existed!?! You should have had your kids help you build the kit that way instead of 12 hours it would have taken you 12 days. There would have been a lot of complaining and crying but your kids would understand.

Supporting copies 👹
Bad style. If people do this then there won’t be any LEGO.

I bought one used, just to see for myself. I built a formula 1 moc from the pieces since the Porsche didn't really interest me.

I was there filing molding flash from differential, shift forks, shift drums, deburring holes especially in panels, etc etc. And in the end it still couldn't work properly due to bad gears, bent axles, etc.

Don't get me started on their pins. Blue half/half ones in particular were bad, with either too much or not enough friction and lots of all types of blue pins were broken.

All the panels look like crap with bits of other colours in the molding, scratches and so on.

I guess if you were willing to replace all the technical parts with OEM Lego you might be ok.

Nah...

It's like comparing a real Rolex vs. a knock-off from China. Looks the same, but....
